There are two types of antennas

• Yagi, point-to-point or directional antena, where signal is strong only in one direction. It is used to connect different APs.


• Omni, omnidirectional or point-to-multipoint antenna, where signal is strong in all directions. omnidirectional antenna is used to connect hosts to APs.
